Who/what have you guys used (flatbed, car hauler, train, etc?). Reliable and reasonable $. I am not constrained to the # of days the transport may take to get from Calg to Van. And it's an unmodified stock vehicle.

I brought my car e90M3 (slightly modified) in from Toronto last year. Rail was complicated. In the end I found Nile Transport. It was by far the cheapest option and the guy was amazing to deal with. He got it to Calgary in 4 days. Mighty impressive.
I spent days researching this and this was the best open trailer option.
This seems obvious, but if its a vehicle you care about, do not use an open trailer in the winter through the mountains. Its like a salt bath on steroids.
Once, and only once, did I make the mistake of towing a racecar open deck in the winter. Never again.
