You're underestimating the stupidity of man. There's no small amount of people who pay no attention to small details like the price of something. They don't even look at their back accounts on a regular basis. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Honestly I'm even guilty of it in drive-thru's. I barely glance at the screen at the order speaker (if it's even showing my order, which most of the time it doesn't), and then they just shove the POS machine towards me with an unlit LCD screen, so I don't see the number there either and I just tap my card and get my coffee. They could have charged me $100 for it, and I wouldn't notice until I look at my online banking a few days later.

But implementation is probably going to be nightmare.

So much for that."Wendy's will not implement surge pricing, which is the practice of raising prices when demand is highest. We didn't use that phrase, nor do we plan to implement that practice," the company said in an email to The Associated Press on Wednesday.
Wendy's Co. plans to invest about $20 million to launch digital menu boards at all of its U.S. company-run restaurants by the end of 2025. It also plans to invest approximately $10 million over the next two years to support digital menu enhancements globally.
Wendy's said that its digital menu boards "could allow us to change the menu offerings at different times of day and offer discounts and value offers to our customers more easily, particularly in the slower times of day.

Yeah, absolutely. But don't be fooled - there are many knockoffs. Only the Kraft ones have that creamy taste while the knockoffs just taste like sugar and wax or something.
They're delicious - regrettably, the work staff may have to soon settle for Werther's Originals. And frankly, nobody really WANTS a Werther's Original candy until they hit half a century.
Plus, you only choke severely on about 40% of Worthless Originals. How are they legal?!This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

"Continental" medium ground beef $12.79 / pound at Real Canadian Superstore.
Ouch.
Cocoa $11,000 per tonne.
Superstore hands down has the worst priced and quality meats. Rest of the store is ok but somehow they are fucking terrible on meats always

I don't mind the principle, since people are lazy pieces of shit that leave carts everywhere, but I hate the idea of having to have coins with me for any reason. It's a moot point though, I haven't set foot in a superstore in years. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
