    Default Sound bar recommendations?

Moved to new house and living room doesn't really have space for a full size AVR receiver and stand alone 5.1 speaker system. And the wife hates to look of my old KEF speakers.

Fast forward to looking for a good sound bar.

    Must have:
-ability to play music directly from wifi web connection or Bluetooth from phone
    -Dolby Atmos
    -wireless sub capable
-ability to add wireless surround speakers

Multi room capable would be a bonus.

Been looking at Sonos Arc or Bluesound Pulse +.

Are there any other make/models that should be considered?

I think the Sonos Arc is the one, but you have to add the sub. Sounds like they are close to releasing a mini sub that might get you out the door under $2k.

The other bars were $2k plus without sub. A sennheiser and a Sony - I want to say it was the XT7000 or something

Yamaha was top for sound quality when I was looking awhile ago.

This is likely more helpful for you.

Update: bit the bullet and ordered the Sonos Arc, Sub and pair of One SL speakers. Used the Perkopolis promo code and saved 15%.

Now playing the waiting game until it ships, its currently backordered.

You'll love it. I have the arc and sub. I want to add the SL soon though.

Any chance that promo code is shareable?

Its a one time use code. But I got it for free by signing up for the Canadian Tire credit card. Card has zero annual fee, and comes free Perkopolis (many discounts in this) and free roadside assistance (cancel AMA, for the win).

Update. Got the soundbar and sub delivery, surrounds were separate shipment not arrived yet.

Set it up, it's sounds pretty damn good, but not amazing.

Went to find the room correction feature, and huge disappointment to discover the Trueplay only works with IOS.

The official Sonos website actually tells you to borrow a friend's device to calibrate the system.

That's kinda crazy that a $2500 setup instructs you to borrow a device!

Good thing Sonos has a 45 day trial period, cuz this thing is getting sent back.

I'm not a fan of Apple, and for this system to only work optimally with an iOS device is a deal breaker.

Fuck I wish this was more clearly stated on one of the hundreds of reviews I read!

Sonos being priced the way they are did not anticipate poor people buying their systems.
