I hear this stuff works wonders for weed control/ lawn care. Called UFA and they only give it to acreages. Anyone wants to help me buy some or has alternatives that are this cost effective? For reference, 10L is $150!

It's Trillium. Very similar to Par III aka Par 3 and "Premium 3-way".
Good shit, illegal to sell inside the city because of some bullshit. It's expensive but you do dilute like 20:1 or something.I always diluted less than reccomend.(please read and follow the label instructions).

I thought this would be about the new show "Trillions", the same showrunner that made "Billions" --> https://ew.com/tv/billions-spin-offs...ons-trillions/
I have nothing of value to add.
It has the same ingredients as Killex which you can buy anywhere.
I thought killex was just 2-4-d? But yeah killex is effective as well.

Different ratios, I assume, but same typical 3.
Then giver. I never looked closely.

Group buy? I could use of this to nuke everything outside my fence line. Nothing worked I tried last year, figure I would try a scorched earth policy this year. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Contains dicamba, mecocrop p, and 24d. Was thinking of using this year but decided against it due to children. If i had a purely ornamental lawn i would use for sure.
Tap, Rack, BANG!
We need to find someone with acreage address to buy this stuff… I’m definitely in if there’sa volunteer. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Except that stuff is $40/ liter and diluted. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If your in the city stop being a cheap bastard and hire a lawn company. I paid $200 to $300 over the years for 6 visits and the lawn never looked better.
Only thing I'd ask is if their spraying the lawn and the weeds. Had one company dropping seeds one year and wouldn't pay for that service as I'd do that myself.
I'm in the country. I'll have to consider getting this and a sprayer.
If anyone's having issues with ants ive come across some crap that's completely destroyed nests and eliminated them over night.
X3 on ant death
In for #antdeath and also group buy for trillion.

Ant death isn't complicated. It's whatever has the "borax" word attached to it. It's a cholinesterase inhibitor that they identify as food, mark it to tell the colony, and carry to The Queen.
Do NOT get it on you, drink/eat/breath because it's not good for humans but it comes in a fucking eye dropper, so find the nest or feeding areas and profit.
At the end of the day, it's pretty debatable that ants even damage a lawn anyways. I use to literally plant peoneas on/around/in an ant nest as they are often part of a reasonably sustainable ecosystem.
Yeah I've used 20 Mule team Borax and sugar water before. Thought there was something better. This seemed sorta effective. Not amazing.

I tried borax all last year with no luck. Tried liquid traps. Those small metal traps... and although they probably killed some ants they made no noticeable difference.
Spoke with a guy I met who owns a pest control company and he gave me a water bottle marked malahion. I added 3 tablespoons to 1 gallon of water and sprayed the perimeter of the house and a bunch of ant nests.
I went from hundreds of ants around my driveway to zero immediately. I had a massive nest 3 feet long. I sprayed it while hitting it with a shovel to get into the nest a bit. You could see thousands of ants at the surface. They were gone the next day.
Hit another nest with the same results. It's been about 4 days and I can't find an ant anywhere they normally are. Apparently this works great with spiders and other insects. Doesn't affect the grass.
When I Googled the product looks like it may be malathion. The water bottle I got had it written on the bottle. I'll try and confirm with this pest guy for exact product name and where one can buy it.
For the massive amount of ants on my acreage this was magical. I still need to run around and hit a few more nests hidden in the trees around my place.
I believe Malathion has been banned for decades.
I think it's still used industrially to control mosquitoes, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure it kills everything.
