    Default OBD2 Scanner Rental

Anywhere in town to rent a good scanning tool? Have a reader but need more info from a car.

    Google/kijiji yielded no help.

    Thanks..

I have one of these which you can use if it will help.

    https://www.obdlink.com/products/obdlink-lx/

After going to the website link it looks like I bought the one that doesn't have the advanced Ford and GM scan diagnostics like the higher end model does. I'm guessing that's what you need?

"Consider purchasing MX+ if you need access to the proprietary Ford & GM vehicle networks (MS-CAN and SW-CAN) in addition to the standard OBD-II protocols".
