I like the idea. More active aero is cool. I'd love it if they added more cylinders, teeny tiny V8 would be sick, but that's obviously dreaming.
It's the same picture.

There's some growing talk that the regs after 2026, I think 2030(?), that with the shift to renewable bio-fuels they could go back to fully gas non-hybrid systems. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Smaller cars would be welcome. The recent ones have been growing far too big, especially for places like Monaco.
That makes no sense at all. If anything, they’ll completely remove the recovery limits under braking and up the storage capacity as batteries get lighter. The rules are chasing more efficiency, which is why they’re slowly allowing more active aero. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

They’re chasing a greener image. If they can be “net-zero” with sustainable fuels they’ll shift back to grow the sport. Maybe, again just rumours and f1 is ripe with misinformation. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Feels like some stuff is taken out of context here. Removing hybrid isn’t going to increase the sound. Removing mgh-h and bringing back wastegate helps a little, the big sound improvement would come from going back to NA.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

N/A 1.2L v8 that revs to a million rpm is what I wanna see. It can still be a hybrid.
Of course, there’s near zero chance this will happen, but it would be cool.
Newey did an interview recently where he said that the hybrid approach to F1 is only being pushed by a couple of manufacturers chasing green image for their companies, the teams themselves want to go back to ICE with net-zero fuels as battery/hydrogen sucks for Grand Prix racing.
Watching qualifying from the suites just at the tail end of the straight. First time live for me, it’s shocking how fast (and loud!) these cars are.
I went last year and sat at the hairpin. I loved the smell of the burned fuel and rubberThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote![]()

I’ve been to those exact seats before. Awesome experience, even better when it’s raining haha. If you think these are loud, you missed the v8 and v10 era. That shit hurts. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
