Eagle, copper has a few holes that are back and forth like a farmers field that get annoying. If you drive a bit further, I enjoyed trickle creek and wild stone. I found shadow mountain a miserable experience, but that was early covid and I’m just not good enough to make it enjoyable. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

If you dont mind the extra drive towards Kimberley Bootleg Gap is my favorite course out that way.
I've heard good things about bootleg gap. Doing a golf trip this spring with some friends based around the cranbrook area and bootleg will definitely be one of the main stops. We also like to hit up crowsnest pass on the way out, another personal favourite. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I didn’t like it, but mostly cause I wasn’t playing well that day. We had a member in our group telling us what shots to hit and stuff, made it bearable. That course would make me want to spoon my eyeballs out if I didn’t have someone helping me with all the blind shots.
We've done a boys trip the last few years, out in the Cranbrook area, and it's always June. We've had good success with the weather during that time. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Bootleg Gap is good, but my favourite course so far in that area is Trickle Creek. It's the only course we've made sure to hit every single year. Definitely worth checking out. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Trickle Creek has really gone down hill, not what it use to be.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Old carts, poor ground maintenance, looks like they aren’t making the money they use to.
Shadow Mountain & Wildstone were actually nicer last year than Trickle Creek.
Have any of you played Predator Ridge in Vernon?
Hoping to do a boys trip there this year.

And to have a course set up like that, and one fucking net to warm up on, no range or anything.. for like $200 +

I used to play Pred every year, but won’t be going back. The last two times it was a bad experience, which is unacceptable for the price. E.g., on the last time I was out there, it was 36c, and we were advised on the first tee (after it was too late to get more drinks) that there’s no longer water on the course, but the cart girl will be coming around. 4.5h round later (slow pace), and we didn’t see the cart girl once. Made mention of it to the Marshall on the 17th hole, and his response was “leave a google review, that will make sure someone sees it”. The pro shop also gave us a shoulder shrug when we told them on our way out. At >$200/round, that service is comically bad, fuck that place. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Agree it's definitely not worth the price. I'd rather play Tower Ranch, Black Mountain, Gallagher's, etc
How was the course? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I always bring a cooler with my own drinks.
Typically in really good shape, enough blind shots to make it a little frustrating your first time around if you don’t have a frequent player giving you tips. Yardage book is worth it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I played it a few years ago but I found the exact same. Lots of blind shots = lost balls and a fair bit of elevation changes. I would go back to try it again as it was raining on/off last time I played but wouldn't put it in my top 10.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
This is a great course if you want to cross the border.

Second this, one of my favorite courses. I suspect it will be private relatively shortly too considering how many houses have been built. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
