who likes, who doesn't? i think i like it, too bad it looks almost like the new civics... and it wont be here until 2006.

2002 VW Golf GT TDI
2016 VW Passat BiTDI
I dunno......slowly growing on me...it does however look too much like the fugly Civic SiR hatch.
I've only seen a few pics of these in stock form...and they are ugly. But when modiifed (like the ABT one) they look pretty nice....
Will have to wait and see one in real life to make final decision....
I do like it a lot, its a nice evolution from the current Golfs...I saw a pic of the next Jetta though and I found hat disgusting...
...@therealarifjina...
that pic makes it look so very hot, but i have seen others where the car appears pigish and huge.
as for the jette, i havent seen it yet but they better not mess that up as its a HUGE part of N/A VW sales.
I wonder if VW are expanding the use of their TDI engine, and what the long term reliability of that engine is in the Golf?
I dont mind the Golf redesign.
hate the front, reminds me too much of a civic
yes, they are. It seems a 2.0l TDI is possible for the golf/jetta V. The passat will be getting a TDI of its own soon and the mother of all TDI's is poised to hit N/A, the 5.0L V10 TDI for the touareg.Originally posted by Ducati

I think it looks really nice but then again it reminds me of the civic
I used to hate it, but looking at that picture i think it looks pretty good, it has good lines and looks more sleek then the mkiv

great another civic
Need to revise the front ligths as it basically mirrors the Civic SiR Hatch design. As it stands, I dont like it. It loses the distinct classy look that all current VWs have. You can't really mistake them for anything else.
This MKIV Golf and the spy shot of the MKIV Jetta....I dunno. Can be mistaken for some Toyotas or Civics. Not a good thing.
