Speeding ticket beat!!

Got a ticket for 30 over in a 70 zone. Lawyer told me to get a speedometer test at Mr. Speedometer for $50.00. Found out that my speedometer was off by 1km. Sent it in to my lawyer thinking I was jacked. Got a letter back saying I got off the speeding ticket and instead got a $103 fine for a faulty speedometer, no demerits, no record. Got hooked up!!!!!

dude, u dont need a lawyer to bring a speeding ticket down to a faulty speedo ticket.

u can do that yourself by talking to the crown prosecutor..

Hey, do you think it matters whether your speedo is off by +1km/h or -1km/h??? I mean, if they test your speedo and it turns out that the speedo reading is faster than you're actually going, wouldn't that mean you MEANT to drive faster than you are actually clocked at??? Wouldn't that lessen your case against them? I think your speedo is off by 1km/h but in the way that it reads SLOWER than you're actually going, is that right?

i think as long as u have a faulty speedo its all that counts..not by how much its wrong

No kidding, I've faught many tickets simply by asking for a copy of the traffic violations book then highlighting my reasons and showing it to the prosecutor. No lawyer fees for me.
