Battlefield 1942 crashing problem

For you battlefield players, i have a problem that when in game, it either crashes to the desktop or disconnects me from the server. I've read up on this 100s of times, and cant seem to find a solution. I have the updated drivers for my video card. If anyone has had this same problem, and solved it, please letme know. It does the exact same thing in Desert combat as well. However, when i play single player, nothing happens....

oh, and when it exists to desktop, i can still kinda hear sound from ingame, and a little window shows up and says error batt i cant click on it, it dissapears too quickly.

From what I had heard it was a resources conflict depending on the video card you have, but I dont have any more info other than that. Damn I feel like playing that game so badly right now...good ole helecopter.

yeah ben, i'm craving good ol DC sessions of blowing shit up...yet i play for 2 minutes and i crash, and single player is way too easy to kill people...
Ive read nothing but, video card, and motherboard bios (hope that right) problems...i'm gonna try playing it as a window, not full screen, supposivly that can help...oh i also heard sound problems..? not sure if that will really effect it, but maybe i'll try

The obvious answer is that you are downloading too much porn in the background while playing at BF 1942 the same time! Haha Jk, i have the same problem too. It would seem to me that certain servers run smoother and don't boot/disconnect me to desktop as often.

I'm also craving a shoot your chopper out of the air with my Stinger session

Finally fixed it...i cant use it in full screen mode tho, but i did get it to not crash for 4 hours today
