Default What's a good credit card company?

I have a Queen's University credit card through MBNA Canada and it's worked decently well for me... but now I really can't stand how they have absolutely no online accounting at all.

I'm curious as to what you guys use for your credit card company and how well their online system works... I'm sick of sitting around for 20 minutes while some automated bitch on the phone slowly reads through every single fucking purchase I made in that fucking mechanical voice of hers.

I want to burn my MBNA card. Motherfucking people call me all the time trying to sell me insurance. It tell them to take me off the mother fucking list, and they still call me. I want a different motherfucking card now.

Any free cards where you get like 1% of your purchace back?

I have a Bank of Montreal Mastercard. No annual fee, free online banking, and you can accumulate points which you can use towards buying your first home. If you have a bank account with them, you can also link the two online - it works great, I haven't had to visit my bank since I opened the accounts there.

TD Visa has awesome integration with their online banking. No perks to it though, besides the standard buyers protection and travel insurance.

I just got a cibc select visa..........29$ annual fee but low interest.....i might switch to the no annual fee on eventually, but I havn't had any problems so far. CIBC's online banking is pretty simple to use, and I havn't received any phone calls yet (crosses fingers)

    TD Visa kicks ass...

I've had one for a few years now, and when I got a TD bank account last year they noticed my credit rating and immediately gave me a line of credit, an overdraft on my chequeing account and an increase on my Visa.

When I was at CIBC they wouldnt even give me a credit card with more than a $500 limit, and I was making almost the same amount of money at the time.

Those assholes call me monthly even though I have specifically told them to fuck off and die. But I think I have found the cure to them calling, I now inform the telemarketer that I am deceased.

I have a BMO Air Miles Mastercard, does the trick for me.

    I have a scotia Visa.

I had to start with an afwul MBNA card that had crappy interest rates and stupid telemarketers.

When I got the scotia I got a good rate and really good online banking

Why even consider the rate? Just pay the balance off each month. Any "good" rate is still a shitty rate from a CC company. If you intend on carrying a balance just get a loan or loc.

Depending on your credit rating... the TD Visa Emerald is 1.9-5.9%+prime. With free cash advances.

I have this option as well but I don't think they offer it anymore
