adjust clutch free play

hey just got my engine swapped, my clutch feels a little weird...i can press the clutch in a bit and its absolutely nothing...is this my clutch freey play? if so how do i adjust it. any help is appreciated. thanks.

you generally dont want the clutch to be engaging right at the top of the pedal. How far does the clutch go down before it disengages? an inch or 2 or more?
