    Default Saudi captors behead US contractor

    Paul Johnson, 49, was reported to have been beheaded by his Saudi captors. The Al Falluja squadron claimed responsibility, and they requested that the Saudi government release Al Qaeda prisoners and that westerners leave the Arabian peninsula. Our sincere condolences to his family.

    ============================================

    I think I mentioned somewhere here before that they were going after Saudi Arabia next ... now the US has a reason to

    Actually, I said it here

    yeah i know ... but bush will reason it to be ... "we're invading saudi to rid the terrorists and to give freedom to the people!"

    Remember ... Bush needs more "enemies" to fight and more war to continue his presidency ... mark my words

    I'm suprised that Toma hasn't posted on this yet cheering on the beheading, and telling us how the victim deserved it because he's American, so he must be evil...

    Here I am Actually considering that the majority of ORIGINAL 9/11 suspects were form Saudi, I am surprised the US never bombed them...

    But, apparantly, the dictators that run Saudi are friendly to the US, so they got spared

    The beheading does suck. Slightly different scenario then Iraq, where anyone with a reasonable thought would know to stay the fuck out.... And I honestly thought that the first beheading was staged by the Americans.

    Scary man. I HONESTLY and TRULY hope that by the time the US is done with whatever agenda they are pushing, that there will be at least a few places abroad left that are safe for me to travel to.

    I was thinking about it the other day, if Bush loses the election, will Kerry pull the troops out, or keep them in Iraq until it's "stable" again?

    I mean, Kerry can just pull them out, cut the losses and blame it all on Bush and his idiotic war-mongering, and say he's cleaning up Bush's mess; he has a clean slate to do it.

    On the other hand, if the US re-elects Bush, looks like there's going to be problems over there for AT LEAST another 4 years... good thing I have no urge whatsoever to visit the middle east, I like my head as it is, ON MY SHOULDERS.

    I was just thinking, If Harper wins the election, do you think he'll send troops? I know he's for US-CAN ties and wants to better fund the canadian military and what not, but do you think he'd do something like this(just to apease the americans)?

    We have our hands full with peacekeeping duties and in Afghanistan.

    We need a better military to defend our own country.
    The biggest threat to Canada is not an attack here - it is if an attack against the US is launched from here, and the US shuts down the border.

    I definately woudn't put it past him. Most of the supporters of the conservative and the Alliance lean pretty far to the right and have the most naive, ignorant views on international affairs that you can find... I wouldn't be suprised if the first thing they say is "hot damn billy bob... lets go git dim sonnovabitches!!"
