Or do the signs on the side of the road that mark playground zones not clearly say "8:30 until one hour after sundown"?
Every single damn morning, on my way to work, around 8 in the morning, EVERYBODY slows down to 30kph for the playground zones THAT DON'T COME IN TO EFFECT FOR ANOTHER HALF HOUR! Dammit, I'm late for work almost every day, but I'd be on time if these morons would just read the friggin sign!

Actually I think they vary in time, I have 2 around my area, and one say 8AM and the other say 8:30
so there are different times.

Well, I know for sure the two on my way to work say 8:30... I've checked multiple times just to make sure I wasn't flipping out for no reason... But it's possible that different locations have different times.

I thought they were all standardized to start at 8:30 so we don't have to try to read the fine print at 50km/h (more or less)...

Do you really get slowed down that much in a 2 block school zone that you're really late for work? Leave 10 seconds earlier and you probably will make up the difference!
