    Default Ghey ass oil filter.....

Decided to remove the oil filter and turbo oil feed-return line to clean up the surrounding area of the block. Well one would think a oil filter would be easy as pie to remove....mine wasnt! Basically the place where your arm would snake up to grasp the filter....The engine mount, yes the engine mount is directly in the way, wtf was toyota thinking? I had to use those wrenches that grip at the bottom, 3 extensions, and one 3/8's universal joint...all that for an OIL FILTER! More hardships on the way...the intake manifold!!! The wiring harness snakes through between 2 intake runners, oh joy!

I had a similar problem with my old Civic but not nearly as bad as your case. Had to get it from underneath with one hand and no leverage; it was on the back side of the engine.

Anyway, I'm glad the oil filter on my current car is so easy to access:

dont laugh at ppl about that...

for some cars it is impossible to fill the oil filter before spinning it onto the housing...just dissconect your fuel pump relay and crank the motor over for a few revolutions

and learn how to spell..."i lvoe when peopel do tht, cnt speel and aer typng on teh webternet..."

That sounds like a better idea, totally forgot about that. For the guys that don't know, pre-lubing-pre-filling the oil filter, is to prevent the turbo from starving of oil on first start up.
