The last sentence of each body paragraph should be a clincher for the paragraph (include two or three key words from the topic sentence and restate the essential idea of the topic sentence) and it should also lead into the next paragraph somehow. Good transitions bring out the logical relation between your various points, while weak transitions just shift you from one point to the next. Try to think of how your two paragraphs (or ideas) are connected, rather than merely grouping them together.
