But $75 for an intake P&P is pretty reasonable.

Maybe if he starts now and never stops it'll make a good christmas present! Don't even bother trying with a dremel...

This mod is something that you finish off with, not start with IMO. I would say put the money into something else that you will see more gains out of.

All I asked was a simple where to get done, no one on this forum knows what I have bought and planed for my car except for a select couple people, whom are being very nice about keeping it on the Down Low, nor do many people on this forum know anything about JH CIS VW motors...its not like I'm going to get it ported and polished and calling it a day...with that being said, thanks Davan and Cocoa.

If I had a nickle for every time someone wrote a post that was either a) off topic or b) did not directly answer the question or comment in the orginal post I would be bloody rich.
That being said I offered my opinion based on the knowledge that your car is stock or close to stock. Ever thought about spending some extra dough and getting a custom IM welded up for you?

Do any of these places mentioned have a flow bench? Maybe go talk to the guys at concept 1 and see who they might recommend.

when i raced MX i would port and polish my own heads.
On a CR 125 its not a big deal, though i would prob not attempt on a car.

Davenport has a flow bench and have done a lot of porting work on a diversity of applications. They are doing more and more Fuel injected and Forced induction work. They also have a couple of custom fuel injection intakes being built aswell. (They aren't cheap)

There work has to be proven aswell as they have a full engine machine shop, tech center, chassis and engine dynos. I would recommend checking out the facilities as you would probably be impressed by the size of the shop and the growing diversity of projects.

Oh yeah the guy that does all the porting at Davenport has done my Head, Intake , Exhaust manifold, and built a custom 3" downpipe, for my Beater and summer car. I was very pleased with the outcome to say the least.

P.S. I'll try and remember to put pics up of my custom Intake and turbo Header they're building.
