Ya I just started at MRC. I've never heard of Moot Cour though. Just ask at the security desk and they'll tel you where to go. The security desk is located just inside the West Gate. And I only know of one visitor parking are and that's on the east side behind the employee parking lot. I'm not sure if there's visitor parking on the West Side or not. but its like $2 an hour or some crap like that anyway. It's pretty easy to find, just follow the signs. One road is closed off due to construction, but don't worry because u can just go around it. I don't know if I'm any help or not..

I work at Mount Royal. Moot court is a brand new studio, just finished being built, and fully equipt with top of the line audio equiptment.

I'll see if I can post a map of the campus for you when I get to work tomorrow morning.

There is visitor parking outside the west gate, near the new phys ed facility, but it's like 2 bucks an hour, only takes loonies.

Thanks Davan! I knew you worked there but I'm having a "blonde moment" and it didn't really clue in...

Don't park at Visitor parking man!!!
Just park in student parking. I've been parking in student parking all semester and I don't have a parking pass!

Easiest is to probably park down by the East Gate in the corner lot right beside res.

That way you don't have to deal with visitor parking.

you just gotta be smart about it.
I park in spots where the parking patrol have to physically get out of the car to check if i have it. And I KNOW they never get out of the car to check.

Alright, Moot Court is really easy to find. It's in the new building, East Wing One. The room number is EA 1031. Its is right in the center of the building (the building is shaped like an L. It's right at the bend, beside the elevators).

    Here's a map:

East Wing One isn't labeled, but it's the L shaped building to the North-East of the East Gate Entrance.

If I were you, I'd park in the E1 or S1 parking lot. Just park on the far side with your car facing Richard Road. The parking security guys are lazy, they won't get out of their van to check your pass if they can't see it from in the van.

But don't come to me if you get a ticket..............

I've seen them get out once, and I'm not there very often, how long is the info session, cuz I think it's only like a dollar an hour for parking, it's not much.

One of my friends who has a night class usually borrows my employee parking pass, but when I'm not around to give it to him, he parks in the employee lot anyways, and has yet to get a ticket...

Your car doesn't quite look like a student's car, if you know what I mean...

Hahah No no, I just mean, in the employee's lot, it won't stand out in the crowd like a pos sprint or reliant or shadow.

if its in the new building, I would park in S1 lot (which is where I said initially)
Just park somewhere inconspicuous and it'll work! believe me!
and even if you do get a ticket, you don't have to pay it since its not a City of Calgary ticket.
