insurance question.. yes another one.

I have an insurance question, i know the reply would be "call (blank) and find out yourself" but im not really planning to get a car.. not until Xmas the absolutely earliest anway. Just trying to work out the budget right now.

So anyway i've been going through all the online quotes from kanatix and td and statefarm etc.

And they always ask have i been cancelled from an insurnace company within the last 3 years.
So my situation here is. I was the 2nd dirver, as was my sister, under my parents name for the 2 vechicles we have, and i've been insured for the last 5 years. My sis got into enuf accidents that got our whole family kicked out by statefarm ( cause she was only a 2nd driver), and now we are w/ some company paying close to 10k/year

I realize that i've been driving for 5 years( no tickets/accidents), and i should be able to get insurance under my own name away from the family.

Do I still consider as having my insuranced canceled within the last 3 yyears even though i didnt do anything?

No i wouldnt consider that YOU being cancled in the last 3 years.. and tell us when your sister is driving so we can stay home.
