Default Who Has a Catalytic Converter?

For all you folks out there with custom exhausts, who removed their cat.

With all the environmental concerns in the news lately, just curious how many kicked the cat.

I wouldn't call a high flow cat "big bucks". With all the shit our cars put into the air we breathe it's the least we could do.

Making a difference starts with each individual. It is definitly possible to be an auto enthusiast and ecologically sensitive at the same time. Without a cat, you're a big part of the problem. Don't take it off, get the extra couple of horses another way.

I've got a high flow cat. Inlet and outlet are the same size as my exhaust, so the restriction is minimal. Figure there's enough garbage in the air already, no point adding more than my fair share to it.

I'm just taking a wild stab in the dark, but I'm guessing an 85 Jetta with no cat kills roughly 243 animals daily...

When I had the Probe I was cat-less. But, it was way too loud (V6 and 2.5" piping) and the smell was pretty bad. No matter what I do exhaust wise with the Accord, the cat stays For my sanity and environmental reasons
