Go karting opportunities
Thought I'd post a copy of the KartCalgary newsletter in case anyone is interested in go-karting, there are still lots of spaces open. The rates are VERY good compared to paying by the lap due to economies of scale. It's not me organizing this (thank God), it's John Barr, whose number can be found at the bottom.

KartCalgary is network of adult racing enthusiasts that race hi-performance go-karts at an indoor
track in Calgary. We do not, however, own the karts; instead we rent as a group so we can enjoy
the thrill of racing for very little time and expense. Anyone with a valid driver’s license and
an attitude of good sportsmanship is welcome to participate!

Iron Man Race.
Format: 1 man, 1 kart, 1 hour
Price: $66/driver (includes trophies)
Note: please feel welcome to bring a relief driver if you wish.

Monday June 24th, 8pm
Open House Race.
This race is intended to be welcome event for new people or for those who have not been out with
us for a while.
Format: each driver gets 2 fifteen minute races

Endurance Race
Format: 10 multiple-driver teams required to pit a minimum of 3 times for driver exchanges.

Come out and cheer on Pinky the KartCalgary Mini-Van racing in the Claimer Car class on the Oval.
