Default Code 41 - Primary Oxygen Sensor Heater..

Pulled this code today...Never even knew I had an oxygen sensor heater

Anyone know what the problem could be? The o2 sensor is not old.

I know that some O2 sensors are heated, they draw current on cold starts, and that helps keep the idle low, and keeps the vehicle in the low emissions category. Could be a loose connection on the O2 sensor, or a bad wire. Could be the 02 sensor is gone again.

Have you modified any of your ecu wiring harness or tapped into your o2 v-out wire?

Heats up the O2 sensor faster for accurate readings.

Its probably a bad ground or connection.

iirc one or more of the wires leading into the o2 sensor is what heats it up.

My o2 sensor is hard wired...that might be the problem. Maybe one of the wires came loose.

Yes, if you messed with any of the o2 wires its probably something to do with that. I've never heard of an o2 heater circuit problem with a stock ecu before.
