panel bond?
panel bond is the stuff they use to put the panels on a dodge viper there are no screws and stuff,
so yea panel bond is what i need, if no one has any thats ok
thanks
are you talking about bondo?
no
they dont bondo viper panels on!! haha
shane dont bother asking here, most of these guys are too on the ricer side to know wtf this shit is
We get our Duramix from NAPA. Acklands carries Norton's version called Fusor. Just go in, tell them what materials your bonding, and they'll give you the right tube for your application. There are many diff. types, for all diff. jobs. Duramix aint cheap though, $35-40 a tube. Our Wurth rep was in on Fri. with their "Seal & Glue", havent tried it yet, but it's only $14 a tube. hope that helps.
BUMP for a good response....i use the fusor stuff shane and it works great
The stuff he is looking for isnt called Fusor, dont know if it compares to what he is looking for but it is called Pano Bond or something alon gthose lines. They use it for a bonding agent to bond Corvette and Viper panels together, and it sticks hard. Ive gone through Ecklers catalog and haven't found Fusor in there.
ask a body shop what they use and where they get it. i have always used dura mix. that shit works awsome.
panel bond isnt exclusivly used on vipers and corvettes, most new vehicles have it
Before someone tells you the wrong stuff to buy why don't you tell us what the intended use is.
That way we can make sure you are on the right track.
I doubt you are bonding Vette's and Viper's. No offense.
Is it metal on metal or fiberglass to metal?
Plastic to plastic,etc...
More information and I'm sure one of us will let you know a few choices you can use.
kits for molding on side sirts haha, and i dont want it to crack! or break
so this stuff is really good ehat im looking for
yah where i work we got that duramix pannel bonding too, if you want some pm me.
i am a little late, but FUSOR 147 is best, as long as you are bonding plastics to plactics or fiberglass to fiberglass... I mostly use it for bonding the door skins on T/A's can twice on a vette
