    Lightbulb GMC Van running funny

Hi we got our van running. Before it stoped the gages werere going funny. What still is hapening is when you turn on the ignition theres a (P) (!) Service Engine Soon comes up down bellow. When you turn the blinker the Volt Meter keeps time with the blinker it goes up and down when the blinker klicks
The Wiper Dosent go on and when you try to turn it on the tempiture gage rises and the gas meter drops. Also when the lights are turned on it lights up both the blinker lights and gas meter drops and temp meter rises and volt meter drops.
. I realy don know what is going on. Can some one please tell me if they have had the same thing hapen and if so how they fixed it. And it does not have to be the same kind of van or any thing we just want something to try. Thanks.

Sounds like you have a short in the electrical system, take it into a GM dealership and tell them you want to know what is happening before you get it fixed, that way they won't automatically assume you want them to do it and then charge you for it. Once you know whats wrong, figure out if you can do it or figure out how to do it and fix it.

they will charge min .5 to look at it, then usually another .5 to find the problem (if not more)....

Check that your battery is holding a charge... also what year is the van.. what kinda gm van... this might help

Some people charge, some people don't all depends on who you get and what kind of mood they are in.
