did you buy one?!
Its pretty straight forward...unless you have an airbag...and then there is a bit of trouble if you have an Air Bag in your steering wheel..

Hey cal, I need to do mine too, I got a momo that I have to put on. Your more than welcome to come over and we can do both at the same time. Since I have no idea how to do it but I have an integra service manual and a steering wheel puller somewhere.
Machining, Fabricating, Welding etc.
Yea for sure!! first I have to get it... will let you know when it arrives.
What did you get?
Machining, Fabricating, Welding etc.
Sparco Lap 5 (all black), with hub adapter... just ordered it this morning.. not sure when it will arrives yet. which MOMO you got??
Nick hooked me up with a MOMO Racing line, in silver with a honda horn button Sparco Lap 5
Machining, Fabricating, Welding etc.
i've done it before... so let me know if you guys need any help... i'm about 10mins away from legendboy's place. if you want to keep your passenger side airbag so it works you need to wire a resistor to the drivers side airbag harness. also i notice you have to take the slip ring off... that means you lose your signal cancel feature. if you want it to work you have to do a bit of machine work to the hub.
Yea in the tutorial there, it say you cna just put a jumper wire in the harness to get the SRS light off??
that only works on older cars with what they call "gen1" airbag systems. i don't know what year they started putting gen2 airbag systems on tegs but if your car is a 2001 chances are you have a gen2 system. on gen 2 airbag systems you need a resistor in place to keep the light off. i could be worng but on my friends 97civic we had to put a resistor to keep the light off. just jumping the wires didn't work.Originally posted by Superesc
