yup...i have two hotmail accounts...both that ive had for probably 5+ years...sitting at 2MB a piece.
I mostly use GMAIL for anything that requires more than 2MB worth of crap...and hotmail is used basically just for MSN now.

Yeah, it's totally awesome! I've had my Hotmail account upgraded for at least a month now it seems. At first I thought they were just trying to get me to click on my Mailbox Usage % Bar because one day I noticed it was jacked up to 250 MB. I was thinking screw these guys, I don't want to read some ad, lol, I just thought it was a ploy to get me click on some "Upgrade to whatever" ad.
It's cool. I've had my account for at least 7 years.

I got upgraded quite awhile ago. I wonder if it is based on how often you hit the 2mb limit? I hit it almost daily.

I've got 2 Hotmail accounts I use , they upped one to 250 then its was about a month before they upgraded my second account

mine was upgraded like 6 months ago atleast, i don't recall when exactly cause it was upgraded so long ago, I thought it was just a mistake that mine jumped up to 250mb, so i never complained

Hotmail specifically states that the upgrade won't be complete until the end of December. So just chill!

just think of how many users hotmail has. Now "they" have to click on each user and change a setting on his/her account status, this probably involves code of some sort as a button would just be too easy. This is going to take a long time. I think they will eventually get everybody, just give it time
