Why is it retarded? The xbox has a dts decoder, that supports surround sound. Have a listen to the speakers, they aren't half bad for gaming.
Those ones are omnidirectional as well...and are upgradable to add USB and ethernet support so they can be used to play stuff off networks/USB drives...pretty retarded.
WTB:
87+ AW11 ds valence panel, ds fender, rear visor. Burgundy interior parts as well.
7th gen Celica antenna assembly
Please PM me, thanks!
the only thing retarded about it is the price. Otherwise its pretty cool. Having surround sound while gaming on the xbox would rule!
It goes for around 500ish, for a 5.1 system with powered sub, and remote control. Pretty much on par for a system like that. Not a bad price at all imo.Originally posted by eb0i

Because it doesn't say "xbox" on it. lol Plus there are other things the xbox one does that a regular HTIB doesn't.Originally posted by Khyron
But why wouldn't you buy a complete home theater? You can get one in a box for under 500 with a 6.1 receiver, sub, six speakers and it works for all your devices...

That's very difficult to get for under 500! Decent-quality products are much more than $500.Originally posted by Khyron

But I agree, you'd rather buy a home theatre set up than the Xbox set up.
I was taking a closer look at one today, it seems it has 2 additional optical inputs on the unit itself. Kinda neat for people that dont have a real dolby surround reciever at home, but want 5.1 sound.
