Thanks. I had one response from Stugari but it didn't seem to work. It told me to hold the Hood Pin Switch down for 4 seconds and then release. The park lights were supposed to turn on but did not. It was all downhill from there. Any help would be appreciated.

hello command start 2400\2500 it worked to start the truck at work it ran for 15 min shut off gone to start it again and it just beeps at me the doors work but it wont start? can someone help please

Check the hood switch or the on/off switch under the dash.
Other than that it could be one of the 2 30 amp fuses is blown.

First off great page and i hope i got this right lol. Anyway i recently bought a 02 Buick Rendezvous. We brought it home and the next morning i went to use the command start 350i and all that happened is the lights came on and after awhile went off. The vehicle never started. A friend of mine suggested it might be in 'Valet Mode.' I know what that does but all the manual says is how to turn it on or off....Great except it does not have a diagram in witch it lists the buttons. The darn thing came with three remotes lol what a deal... 1- With the led car display (FM)...2- A 5 button remote and i guess the only thing the third one does is lock/unlock...horn/panick....and trunk release. I know the procedure but what button is the one for Valet?!?!?!?! Thanks Dave

Hi there, I have a Command Start in the car I purchased, but without starter fob. I'd sure like to get it working. I bought a fob but don't have a pin switch to activate it. I don't have park lights blinking when I open the hood. The electronics assembly says KIL 500 A7 rev C, and its S/N is S011409727.

I see folks in this forum exchanging information about such systems.

Can someone please advise:
1. What the appropriate model number might be for KIL500A7 rev C might be, so I can refer to it properly in future correspondence.
2. Can I get a copy of the user or installation manual, so I can access the pin switch wiring directly at the electronics assembly. Some day I might even trace the wiring to find the defective pin switch, if there is one but that's not all that important to me right now.

My Dad's AstroStart 1100/2100 starts and stops right away. It says it is overrevving. I don't have the install manual to see if it needs to re learn the tach setting. Can you help with either the manual or the program sequence please?

PM me your email address and I will send out a manual for the CS290i. That is the most common.
If your transmitter has 2 buttons.
If it has 4 buttons you will need the CS300 series manual.

First thing to check is start the car with the key.
There is an LED on the remote start brain under the dash.
It should be flashing while the engine is running. If it is not check the connection under the hood to the tach wire.

If it is good do the following,
1. Turn switches 1,5, 6, and 7 on.
2. Press and relese the brake pedal.
3. Start the car with the key.
4. The LED should flash to the number of cylinders the unit sees present.
5. Turn off the car.
6. Turn switches off.
7. Press and release brake pedal.
Shoud be good to go
