I would be surprised if there was a single point in time in which the US wasn't partaking in some sort of 'human rights violation'. Although I wonder if there is a single militarily active nation that can legitamitely claim the 'moral highground' when it comes to this.

I wouldn't be surprised if Human Rights Watch was placed on the "States annual terrorist sponsor organization" list.
