    Why.. dont you want it to happen to increase protein synthesis and creatine intake boost?

    Yeah an insulin spike is usually a desired response - if you don't want it, just avoid sugary stuff after your workout, though you'd be doing yourself a disservice.

    You want it to happen. That's why I drink a sugary drink for a pre and post workout meals.

    yeah it's definitely a concern for diabetics and if you have a family history of diabetes. Overdoing your insulin spike can increase your chances of getting diabetes
