Someone must have access to a scanner to turn the light off.
Anyone want some $$?

Your safest bet would be the dealership just for the fact they will reset the light NOT accidently disable the system etc.. etc.. I will see if I can figure it out since I probably have the code scanner here already and if I can then I will let you know, but safest bet would be the dealership.
If the air bag light is on in your cav, that means you have a current problem with the system.
Once the problem is fixed, the light will go out immed.
Speed costs money...how fast you wanna go?
Thanks for the input. If I wanted to go to the dealership I would.
The car had the airbags deploy. It has since been fixed but access to the scanner was not available at that time. Everything was replaced but did not have the proper card to reset the light.
I just need someone who has access to the right scan-tool to punch a few buttons and reset it. I'd rather flip somebody on the board a few $$ rather than a dealership charging $95 an hour for something I already know to do.
Like I said I just don't have access to the scanner.
If somebody does and wants to help out just PM me.
I've got some wire cutters
I've thought about that.
juss put electrical tape over the light

I would do it when my cable got here but 96+ is OBD2 so I can't shut it off with an OBD1 cable
