How safe do you think it is to fly these days?
Im goin to mexico in a few weeks and i dunno its hard to trust the whole process that is involved in that flight. The people inspecting the plane and the pilot.

What if you crash while driving?

What if you breath and contract a deadly virus?

What if you fall and injure yourself fatally?

Probably about 50% of flights crash, thats why Air Canada is losing so much money, they need to order like 30 new planes a day, it's Boeing's new plan to make a ton of money.

you can usually tell how safe the flight is by the price of the ticket. that's why carriers have those $99 seat sales, it means that airplane is nearing the end of its life cycle and about to fall apart so they sell the tickets for cheaper.

You mean you ain't know that flying is the safest mode of transportation???

You more likely to die in a car than you are in a plane. Plus, you're more likely to get kidnapped, raped, sodomized and tortured in mexico before you die in a plane crash.

    Feel safe yet?

actually, thats only first time pilots. I think the chances of a plane actually crashing is closer to 20-25%. That's why pilots make so much money... danger pay.

Air travel is actually safer than driving (a fact, not a guess), if someone is in the mood go look up stats.

I believe that pilots make so much NOT because of high risk, but then fact that they had to spend a ton of money to get certified, and also they work tough shifts and stuff.

If pay was rewarded based on risk then those in the military should be making millions and accountants (no offence) would make close to nothing.

As well the $99 seat sales is NOT because planes are falling apart (sorry that's just ignorant), it's a marketing scheme. It's low season right now, the fixed cost of flying the airplane occurs whether there are 20 passengers or 100, so airlines try to put as many people on the plane as possible. ie: TO EARN MONEY.
