it makes a minor difference, but your best bet is to clean them manually

Who knows how good of a job "Fuel injector cleaners" actually do...but i heard that if used alot they tend to dry up seals etc..
Anyone know of any truth to that? or are they fine?

a lot of them use xylene or toulene so they can dry up seals if they sit in your tank for awhile in a fairly concentrated form (like you have an 1/8 of a tank, dump a bottle in and then don't drive the car for 2 weeks).
The best way to clean your whole fuel system (without disassembling and doing everything manually) is to dump 4 liters of xylene in with an 1/8 tank of gas and then run the car damn near dry. Fill up fully with gas after to dilute anything in the system.

from what i understand its only good if you drive at low rpm's, that is when the most carbon or "gunk" is built up on the injector tips. someone like me who likes to rev my car high, i have no worries with injector issues

I see it as inexpensive maintenance/insurance. There is no way a small bottle of quality injector cleaner will harm anything and if all goes as planned/advertised it will help keep your $$injectors$$ flowing well and spraying evenly. I regularly use Redline SI1 and Motul Fuel Sys Cleaner.

ive heard the same, it somehow forms a seal inside ur engine somewhere so that over time it wont destablelize ur compression ratio. and I think it works best for older cars.. sorta restores hp.. I might be wrong maybe im refering to the wrong stuff. I Waz told maybe after 30k I can start adding one bottle every 2nd trip to the gas pump..
