    I just downloaded this thing from the net, and i dont know how the fack to use it, does anybody know???

    its pretty simple, you just need to know specifics about the car your analyzing. A dyno works basically the same way, its all based on mathmatical calculation. Measuring acceleration vs. time and with different variables like tire size and engine displacement...etc.... I'm not sure how accurate the desktop version is however because it uses info like 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times if I remember correctly and that really depends on the driver.
    Machining, Fabricating, Welding etc.

    Nah, you are thinking of the drag racing simulator, desktop dyno lets you manipulate engine parameters and basically build the motor on your computer and run it.. The downloadable version doesn't give you all the toys, you need the full (storebought) version to really use it..
    Its a pretty good tool, I am not sure how accurate its import simulations are, but I built my 440 on desktop dyno, and real world numbers were within 5 % of what it estimated..Maxt

    go to google.ca and type in "desktop dyno download" and you get lots of results i just did it and it found 4000 sites
