What kind of terrain can RVs be ridden on? Can they be used on rocky backroads and mountains or are they only good on paved roads?

depends on what type of rv, if there are any mods done to it, how bad the terrain actually is, there are a lot of variables
What kind of mods would have to be done to it so that it can easily go over really uphill, muddy, rocky terrain? Bigger tires and better suspension?
you can take these suckers anywhere ours was almost on 3 wheels goin around a sharp turn into a camground. there beasts they can handle anything they have air ride suspension!
What kind of RV is that? Are all of them the same? Is the air ride suspension stock or is it a mod?
I tried google, but didnt find any thing helpful.
Its totally dependant on the type of vehicle, type of tires, suspension, terrain, etc. I wouldnt suggest taking the rv that was pictured above off road through bushes and over trees, but I imagine that thing would be more than able to make it on a dirt road. Also keep in mind that that RV has a large turning radius, so offroadin in it wouldnt be the best idea. You could try, but hopefully maintaining a $200000 investment might persuade you.
If your looking for getting off the beaten path, and going deep into the woods, there are a couple of options, although one makes more sense than the others:
1. Get a 4x4 truck, buy a tent, and go into the woods, your golden.
2. Again, 4x4 truck, but get one of the campers that rest in the bed of the truck. Not the most spacious thing, but it will keep you warm and dry.
3. We used to have a 95 model tent trailer, and attached it to the back of a 97 f-150 lariat, and we went to some pretty fuked up off the beaten path places. They're super light.
Id say stick with a tent.

You know what, I'm such a ricer. More form than function, oversized exhaust, Japanese engine, and if I put the tailgate down it kind of acts as much like a wing as the picnic table wings the fast and furious guys are bolting to their cars.

UNIMOG is my fav, but that Pinz is awsome. I would take that as an RV and the Mog as the playtoy.Originally posted by streetarab

This looks pretty cool, but I like how in an RV the living area and the drivers area arent seperated. Drivers can switch without getting out, and those in the back can talk to the driver.
Pinzgauers and Mogs are cool, but I'd pick a Land Rover 127 Ambulance conversion for my all-terrain camper. Right now I can get some pretty cool places with a good old fashioned tent and sleeping bag strapped to the back of my triumph tiger....all the rv I need right now.

Eye for an eye should apply to both, like if you raped a cat, you would get raped by a bigger cat. Counselling doesn't work on animal rapists you clown.
