Making a word file into a JPG..can it be done?
Hey everyone,
I have a word document that has some text and a picture on it. I would like to make it into a jpg of some sort so that it is a flyer and so it has no formatting.
Is there anyway this can be done?
Photoshop is really glitchy....and it wont work there.
Any ideas?

convert the Word file into a .TXT, and then use GIMP to convert it.

You could generate a PDF file from word using Adobe PDF Writer or Distiller depending on what you have access to...
Then open that PDF file up in Photoshop rasterizing it...
Then you can do whatever you want with it, including saving it as a JPG...

Hmm....I guess I'll have to try to get one of these programs you all speak of. I only have photoshop and word. Can I get them free or trial versions or something?

You have to pay like 500 bucks for Adobe Acrobat. Do it this way. Make everything you need showing on the screen and push prnt screen. Then open paint and paste it in there. Crop out everything except what you need and save it. Then use a different program to convert it to jpg. You might have to change your screen resolution to fit it all on your screen though.

There's a few programs out there for free that can write pdf files. It acts like a print driver, so you can just "print" your document from word into a pdf file.Originally posted by Mckenzie

works great. You can print anything to it and it makes it into a PDF.
You just have to deal with one pop up. Better than spending $500.
