can't play xbox live if you have a modded xbox.. it will fry your system..
You can play x-link if you have a soft mod.. dont know about a hard mod.. Anyways dont mod your xbox its illegal :P

I paid a guy 60$ and he did something and now I can backup games to the bigger hard drive I installed.

if u have the right chip (u should be able to tell which chip u have if ur bootup looks different then before *the very first screen you see when u turn on xbox*

all chips that had a switch to disable them were defeated when halo 2 came out, i remember everyone that tried to play with their chips off still got busted. i dunno if theres another hack to get around that though, havent paid attention in a while. look at xbox-scene.net.
