Just after 6:30 PM a physical confrontation at the Dalhousie
C Train station between 2 adult males resulted in one of the
males stabbing the other in the chest.

The suspect fled the scene and the victim sought medical
attention.

The victim received a non life threatening stab wound which
EMS will clarify.

The District 7 investigators are currently interviewing the
victim to determine what may have prompted the dispute.

The suspect is described as a male early 20's, 5'6, blondhair
in a spikey style, black leather jacket and blue jeans.

Just after 8:00 PM tonight, approximately 20 minutes after
police left the Dalhousie C Train station following a
stabbing, police were called back to the station in regards
to another stabbing.

Two males were taken into custody by plainclothes Calgary
Transit Protective Services Officers after they witnessed an
altercation between three people at the station.

One male suffered a stab wound to the neck and was treated by
EMS who will comment on the extent of the non life
threatening injuries.

Two suspects were taken into custody and held for police
investigators.

The two suspects are believed to be linked to the earlier
assault at the station.

NAmes will be released when charges are laid later tonight.

None of the Calgary Transit Officers were injured in the
arrest of the suspects.

Those plainclothes Calgary Transit Protective Services Officers are pretty neat.

I saw them in action when a bum tried to beg for money right beside the ticket kiosk on the Centre St platform.

They look like generally construction workers or thugs dressed in workboots, baseball caps and beat up work clothes, two of the guys that I saw also had goatees, one had a shaved head and piercings and one had visible tattoos. They blend in REALLY well until someone starts causing problems.

Another lovly stabbing in the NW

CITYBEAT - CITY OF CALGARY PRESS RELEASE
-----------------------------------------------------------------

At 10:15 AM this morning a 25-year-old male went to emergency
station #18, located at 415 – 68 AVE NW seeking medical
assistance for a stab wound. Paramedics from that station
were at the scene of a different medical emergency, so
firefighters called for an ambulance and provided first-aid
until paramedics arrived. The male was suffering from a
single stab wound to his abdomen and was rushed to Foothills
Hospital in serious but stable condition.

The Calgary Police Service is investigating and they will
provide any further details.
