I am currently taking the maintenance part of the aviation program at sait and from what I have heard from friends in industry and guys at school, it is an enjoyable course with a large potential for work. if you like doing work with aluminum, carbonfirbre, fibre glass, etc. then it's worth the training

Theres a lot of work for AST's in Calgary. There's tons of work in the helicopter field for mechanics who want to work out of town, watch for the forest fires to start burning

Im not sure yet if I have been accepted into the course they havent sent out there letters yet.

A few questions if anyone has any answers that would be cool.

1.Where and how much would a possible first job pay?
2.How much are tools to work in this field.
3.And does any of you have anything bad to say about tking this course.

    Thx for your time.
If you dont mind PM me your answers if it isn't a problem.
