Enter your address. It freaks me out to know that ANYONE with $20USD can get a sat photo of anything.

Anyone know the address to the pentagon. I am sure the US gov wouldn't let stuff like that be available to anyone.

That kind of stuff has been around a long time (like ms's terra server).

The government restricts the resolution of the images from the sat.

Hmm.. I put in my adress and shit, and a picture came up of like 2 streets, where my house is a popular area.
Some people are funny. They spend money they don't have, to buy things they don't need, to impress people they don't like.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

Try looking up people you know in the states. It works better for them. I just find it kinda wierd that anyone can get it. Like even at the resolutions they give you, you can pretty much identify a vehicle.

I have a high res picture of medicine hat that i got from a friend. His dad worked for some geological company and they were using it for research. You can even see my dog in the back yard pretty clearly.

I was watching discovery and they were doing a program on satilite technology and they showed you could read the headline of a newspaper from space.

Pretty scary i think, that or a new wave of amature porn is coming!

You can get good pics of Calgary, just use the latitude and longitude values instead of the address.

Start with the airport: 51.10 and -114.02. Navigate to your area and zoom in. Simple.
Great scotch is great precisely because you drink it with great friends.

I got it to work. I just put in a near-by town, and then followed a road. You cant zoom completely, only up to the top 4 I think, but I could still see my house distinctly.

I had no idea there was this many farms in western Alberta, or that they were all oriented perfectly in line.

what, that I straightened out all the farms? hell no, click on the rocky mountains, zoom in once more, and then start moving east and you will see that.
