Camera Trade-ins

Does anyone know if there are any shops in calgary that will do camera trade-ins?

The Camera Store does...however you get NOTHING for them, trust me...I know when I bought the new bitch last month.

Thats not what I wanted to hear.. especially when you had one of the best D-SLR's out...

I am actually considering getting the one you had before the uber-upgrade.. But only if I can a fair penny for mine.

I don't have a D-SLR right now... I am just thinking about upgrading to one, from an 8MP Olympus.

I'll sell you my 300D for $600, or $650 with a 50mm 1.8 lens.

The Camera Store and Vistek do trade ins but don't expect anything great, more so if you have a pro-sumer point and shoot.

Private sale on here or Bargain Finder would be the best way to get the most money. You could also leave your camera on consignment at The Camera Store but that could take forever to sell or maybe not depending on who looks at or wants the model of camera you have.

London drugs had a sign that they buy used equipment - had quite a bit of stuff in the case too.
