perhaps a good project for you to learn on.
U just need the right sockets a ratched, some wrenches maybe.....and spring compressor.
As long as you compress spring properly nothing will get destroyed. Guy in my old shop class didnt use the compressor properly and the spring went through 2 walls and nearly killed our shop teacher.
Spring = lots of Potential Energy
