It reminded me of some model Benz, cant remember which one...SL 65 cuz of the the huge space for the Subaru emblem like the Benz one..

I think something as simple as a change of grill would make it look 100x nicer... I'm trying to find larger pictures so I can tell if the grill is a one piece thing with the bumper or what.. Anyone agree?

No way I would pay $36K or more for a car that homely. As much as I dislike the bland designs coming out of Honda & Toyota at least I can live with bland if the performance is there but not an abortion like this.

I read an interesting article on the WRX. While popular in north america, the initial bug-eye look of the WRX was not popular in Japan or Europe so they made the mild restyle which IMO looked better. Expect this look not to last more than a couple of years if we are lucky.

meh, I think that car designs are starting to go the way of the motorcycle with multi mid cycle refreshes.

If a Yugo, Hyundai or Kia came with 386 hp and AWD, I would buy it tomorrow. No matter what it looked like. Shit, I would buy an Aztek with that much power!

headlights look too small for a car like the STi, and the tri-grill makes the front end too busy.
is this rumored 386hp coming from the same 2.5 liter engine used in current Sti's?

i really dont think it looks too bad. i definitely like the current impreza design better, but these real pictures looks a whole hell of a lot better than all those renderings that were floating around
