    Default Polishing raw aluminum wheels.

My wheels arent coated and I constantly have to polish them but thats not the problem.
This has been my first time with the wheels on during the rain and they have collected up some road grime.
I have "Simple green" and I kinda wanna use it to get off the brake dust & road grime.
I was told that I should use 50/50 (50% simple green, 50% water of course )

Would this be harmful to the wheels?

I just dont wanna end up with oxidized wheels.
I dont want to pay an arm and a left nut to get them repolished.

i think you should be ok. i would just use a car wash soap and water, but i never had a problem with my billit wheels oxidizing and i ran them for a few summers. just dont let anything sit on them for a long time.
