Knox mountain hill climb 05 pics

This is my first time at this event in Kelowna and it's a lot of fun. Lots of different cars racing and on display. These were taken on the first day (sat.) i'm going again tomorrow to get more shots from different areas but feel free to check out what I have for now.

That is a blast, we drove out there an camped along the river 2-3 yrs ago.
The last day is definatley the best, everyone goes balls to the wall

They were going harder today. Some dude rolled his car and there were some going off and some just braking down. The MG GT was king of the mountain when I left. Someone may have beat it but we'll see when they post the times.

That Calgary car (AWD turbo) Rabbit had a best time of 2:03:530 Min until it went off at turn 5 at 125 kph

yeah tour of the mountains.. race up the Norquay road here in Banff followed by a race up the sunshine road

ya I got a pic of it on the flatbed on the way down. I didn't hear anything about any injuries so that's good. I'll have sunday pics up as soon as I get time, probly the weekend.

The surprise of the event for me was that old beat up looking lude. lude It posted about a 2:02:..... turns out it's turbo/intercooled running on propane! That thing was a insane.

yeah alot more people are turning to propane as a fuel source, its said to have a octane rating of about 114 if im not mistaken and its also cheaper than race gas, the only hard part is finding a place to put the tank..
