Default AS SEEN ON TV: Weedwacker Line

Does anyone know what i'm talking about? Installs in seconds, its an attachment that goes on your weedwacker that allows you to install line by just plugging it into the base, instead of fumbling with the regular line thats wrapped around.

I want to buy one, its on a lot of as seen on TV commercials, but i'd rather get it here. I'd also like to hear if anyone here has one to give a quick analysis on what you think about it.

anything "as seen on tv" usually belongs on the tv!! Im a sucker for those ads! and most of the time... I turn into just that.. a sucker.. usually, the home improvement stuff is okay.. but the stuff like, the make your teeth white with UV light is bogus. hahaha

Aren't these attachments available at Canadian Tire?

Don't know if they're the ones you're looking for though.

Don't really care if its the one on TV or not, but basically I need an attachment that allows me to plug the line in rather than thread it through those holes. It's simply too time consuming to do that 4 times every cut.

I know you can get some attachments at crappy tire with three blades on them instead of the line but I have never tried them!

Cool, ill give em a go. Blades suck tho, they dull and they're probably not as good as the regular line, but they may have what im looking for.

    That's cool

It's more like the second one. It's basically just an attachment that allows you to plug in small 6" line into the attachment, rather than use a whole roll and thread it.

the only issue is, if you are doing more then a couple seconds of weed waching, you will break the lines and just have to put more in. i'd stick with the spool of line, it takes like 2 seconds to replace and i can usually get a fully loaded weed wacker spool to last 9+ hours of straight weedwacking around stones.

^ that is really dependent on the line, though. If the line supplied is not good enough, I can always buy a spool of thicker/thinner line and cut pieces off of it.
