ok im trying to install windows on my laptop so i can get rid of it but i keep getting an error saying:
"invalid hibernation partition file run hdprepez"

I ran hdprepez but it still gives me this damn message it wont let me go any farther either so theres no way to get to dos without running a cd and exiting...confusing as it sounds im annoyed as hell and feel computer illiterate...can someone help??! please!@?$#!4

    http://support.neccomp.com/downloads/search/default.htm

and search for the driver which deals with the hibernation.
and basically follow the previous post and solve your problem that way.

The boot disc should get you into DOS. I believe any boot disc other than Win2000 and XP should work. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

As a computer technician, kicking or stomping on a computer works to solve the problem 9/10 times. However it tends to cause more problems, so if you can blame someone else for it, all the better
