$115 for illegal tint...
Has anyone beaten that before?
Or is it pay up and shut up!

A buddy of mine managed to get the charges dropped by showing that he took the vehicle off the road. I'm not sure if he contacted the original police officer or if he went to the court house.
I got a tickets for tints years ago when it was $67. I took the tints off and went to court with pics. Judge dropped the charge. Do you have any pics of the car without tints to show?? That might work if you don't want to take them off, otherwise pay up.
Dont think I could do that even If I had pics!
I was thinking of suggesting that but I doubt that would work. If you took it to court and the cop actually showed up it would be his word against yours... you know who is going to win there.Originally posted by badseed

I'd say if you have the time then go into court and at least appeal it. If you do nothing you have a 0% chance of getting the ticket revoked. You might as well try to get it at least reduced.

Tint tickets are that expensive now? I've received a few tint tickets in the past but nothing over $35. Ouch.
They musta went up when the other fines went up!
sorry to hear that u got a ticket
i wish i could find that thread when someone said an 'officer' told them that they're no longer ticketing for tints anymore, and i almost wanted to get my front two tinted; lucky i didn't~
Well according to the RCMP guy that ticketed me it could have been worse.
He claimed I was doing 130 in a 110.
Altho out by Airdrie he was coming the other way and I was in right lane. I didnt think they could radar across the divide and 2 lanes while moving!!
Radar works while in motion...lidar doesn't. It's possible.
Mike
I know radar works in motion...what I meant was he wasnt stopped, shooting from a parked postion across all the lanes and the divide!
