Default Tire sizes on 96 explorer XLT

I have a 96 explorer XLT (4.0) and I want to get some bigger tires for it, but i have some questions first.

    1. What is the max size that i can fit on without a lift?
    2. What would the max size be if i did a 3" body lift?
    3. Does anyone know the width of the stock rims?

The stock rim size is 15x7. With a 3" body lift you could probably squeeze 33" tires under there

from experience 33's would be a little tight. you might be better off with a 31 X 10.5 tire.
