Sorry ppz, some of those chain shops might be pretty good by most people's standards, but you can't get the 'BEST' alignment unless you use the best equipment.
THE BEST ALIGNMENT in Calgary can be had at Alvin Automotive. They run more Hunter equipment than anyone I've seen, and the guys that work on the cars are all pros. Aftermarket modifications don't stop them, they'll always help you out.
Their huge alignment machine is a laser-guided Hunter system... took my car there, on 275/235 offset 18's (from 215/15 stock) and with HICAS problems, and it's been tight for over 1.5yrs now, and it was reeaal baad b4 that (i would chew 2 sets of rubber a summer). plus, if i remember rite, he charged only $75 or so. o ya, and i had 2 change 2 tie rods on top...
All my friend's I've sent there have nothing but good things to say afterwards, and they've all gone there since.
They're prb among the best in the city when it comes to figuring out those pesky nissan/infiniti quirks too
How can an alignment scratch your wheels?Originally posted by jaylo

As far as I know, the only place that an aligner's head would contact a wheel, is the most outer edge of the rim.
Must be pretty crappy rims IMO.
Does anybody know if Tire Craft uses the laser alignment system?
will they give me a detailed print out of what was done and everything... it helps me tune my suspenssion when i go driftOriginally posted by Das_Amaretto
Alvin Automotive.
yeah i belive tirecraft uses computer alignment. my integra is lowered on h&r race with out a camber kit, and tirecraft managed to get rid of all the toe, and most of the camber, i with in -1.2. I strongly recommend tirecraft
are you on stock shocks?Originally posted by ken-gsr

I just had mine done a tirecraft just yesterday and they gave me a printout of everything also. I'm lowered 2" as well.
T&T has top of the line Hunter equipment. Nothing but plastic and rubber ever touches your wheels. I had 35 series rubber mounted no problem onto my 18s...Originally posted by jaylo

Fuck that, they showed me their alignment tool after they scratched my wheels and the end of the clamp is bare metal I saw it with my 2 eyes.
